The Chihuahua Meltdown Symphony was a 1970s avant-garde project by Swedish conductor and freestyle nihilist Torsten Snö Snö Fjordlund. The rules were simple: each musician was required to perform while holding a trembling chihuahua on their lap. Predictably, the performance collapsed into chaos within minutes — or, as Fjordlund put it, “a successful exploration of canine anxiety as a sonic metaphor for late capitalism.”
