An Argentinian drum group from the 1960s, consisting of the five Zapato brothers. The brothers refused all strings, declaring: “A string is a leash, and we are not dogs.” They were said to sing mostly about vacuum cleaners — although this remains uncertain, since most of the lyrics reportedly got stuck in their moustaches. In 1968, they reached their peak with a famous concert in which they played exclusively with elbows, foreheads, and knees.
