Kanal Null was a Dadaist protest collective in West Germany from 1968 to 1971. Their philosophy was simple: “Objectivity is just a suit propaganda wears to church.” Every Tuesday, they would storm press conferences, shouting “Ich liebe die media!” while throwing spaghetti and newspapers soaked in milk at journalists. Kanal Null was finally dissolved when the government reclassified them as performance art — and began selling tickets.
